The Sahu Urban T/C Cooperative Society Ltd.

The Cooperative Thrift & Credit Societies are organized and formed with the aim and objects to cater the financial needs and socio-economic development of its members. The services of these societies are focused to save the financial interest of its members as well as save them from the harassments and exploitation of the private money-lenders on the one hand. On the other hand, it creates a sense of self help through mutual help amongst its members as well as encourages them to unite and create a habit of savings for their future needs.

Membership

How to become a member of the Society

Any solvent and sound minded major citizen of India residing in National Capital Territory of Delhi is eligible for membership in the society.
Interested person may apply for membership on the prescribed Application Form available in the office of the society on payment of prescribed fee.
Application Form must be filled in and signed without any overwriting and corrections/cuttings.
The Application form must be accompanied with
- Personal Identity Proof (Aadhaar, Pan Card and Pass Book of Bank A/c / Cancelled Cheque)
- Residential Proof (Water/Electricity Bill together with title documents of owned residential property / NOC cum undertaking from Land Lord accompanied with title documents of property and his/her personal Identity Proof)
- Business Proof (Service Identity Card/ Documentary Evidence of Other Business / Profession)
- Income Proof (Salary Slip /Certificate from employer or Income Tax Return as applicable or any other documentary evidence)
- Recent Passport size Photographs must be affixed on the appropriate place specified on the application form, Membership Identity Card and Signature Verification Slip.
- Introducer must sign and fill his details at the appropriate column specified for the purpose.
- An affidavit from Introducer on the format given alongwith the application form.
- An affidavit of applicant on the prescribed format.
- Rs. 2,358/- in Cash or by Demand draft payable to “The Sahu Cooperative Urban Thrift & Credit Society Ltd.” or transfer into the bank account of the society through any Electronic Mode of Payment. Please note that for membership application Cheques are not acceptable.
- Any other document may required as per circumstances.
Note: Self Attested Photocopies of All required documentary evidences must be annexed with the application form and original must be produced for verification only.
